Dehnert Dental is a full service dental office. We take pride
in our outstanding crowns, bridges, and veneers. We offer all porcelain,
porcelain fused to metal, and gold crowns. We use only the highest quality
materials available.
A crown is commonly referred to as a “cap.” It may cover the entire tooth (to
the gum level) or three quarters of the tooth and holds the whole tooth
together. A bridge is a series of crowns that are fused together which replace a
missing tooth. A veneer is an all-porcelain laminate that is fabricated and
cemented following minimal tooth reduction to achieve an esthetically pleasing
result.
A bridge. This is where the tooth in front of and behind the space are prepared for crowns, and a one-piece unit is fabricated that fills the space and covers all the teeth. Advantages are that insurance will often help cover the cost, it is quick (usually completed in about 2 weeks, and it is fixed in place.
